As a licensed associate counselor I am committed to helping you find purpose in life while seeking meaningful experiences. I enjoy helping people develop self-awareness and acceptance skills to increase confidence and improve wellbeing. I believe in a multifaceted approach to counseling with an affinity for Acceptance and Commitment therapy. I appreciate the ACT modality for its shame free perspective on involuntary thoughts and emotions. This foundation coupled with increased personal understanding and inner peace developed over time is an effective and evidence based therapeutic treatment that produces life long effects.
I have expertise in working with adults and adolescents in coming to a better understanding of themselves and others, making positive changes, managing daily stress and creating a life worth living. I have had the opportunity to help people work through struggles including anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger, self-harm, codependency, PTSD and mood disorders. I celebrate the incremental successes of my clients as they learn to promote the action oriented shifts that transforms their experience of life.
I enjoy nature, especially hiking and paddleboarding. I love movies, music, audio books and podcasts. I especially find joy in seeking new experiences and quality time with family and friends.
